On this book journey there has been some very special moments. Photos people have sent me. Gifts people have given me.

People have written me to say they read one of my haikus to start each day.
Someone wrote to say she was using some of my haikus in her samhain celebration.

A friend sent me a photo of his dog with my book. He was reading haikus to his dog Beans during the dog’s recovery.

Someone told me she didn’t have a favorite but had a list of the last lines of my haikus. She said those last lines had her looking at nature differently on her morning walks.

I was commissioned to write a haiku in memory of a very old, very large oak tree that had to be taken down. To make it extra special, I had the haiku engraved on a faux rock. The person who commissioned the haiku from me was thrilled.
